If you have never climbed before you can use our bouldering facilities on your own after watching a safety video and filling up the form.
If the center is quiet we might be able to show you how to use out autobelays, but we cannot guarantee this. If you want to use the ropes you will have to book one of our classes with an instructor or be signed in by an experienced climber.
We have top rope and lead panels. We also have autobelays and a small bouldering room.
Bouldering is climbing without a rope in a smaller wall. There is mat underneath that helps if you fall but it doesn’t prevent the risk of injury.
A top rope is when there is a permanent rope in the wall hanging from an anchor at the top. You tie in at one end and other person belays (keeps the climber safe) at the other end.

Leading is when there is not a rope on the wall, so you have to clip yourself in as you go up. You have to bring your own rope as we don’t rent lead ropes.
Yes, shoes, harness and belay device are available to hire. We do not hire out lead climbing ropes or chalk bags
